'For you see, every day I love you more, today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow'

A line taken from a love poem written by Rosemond Gerard in 1899, by Alphonse Augis a jeweller from Lyon, and set into an 18ct gold love token which has gone on to become one of the most highly collectible items of jewellery in modern times.

A solid 18ct diamond and ruby love charm with a rebus spelling out '+ Qu'hier - Que Demain' (more than yesterday less than tomorrow)

Set with one diamond and two synthetic rubies and a floral and laurel wreath border to symbolise the triumph of love.

Stamped AA to the front and DEPOSE to the back, the bale is stamped with an eagles head for 18ct gold and the Augis makers mark.

A highly collectible piece which can fetch well over a thousand pounds on todays market.
