A gorgeously chunky, heavy, solid open curb link Albert chain in 9ct gold with double dog clips made in Birmingham in 1850.
This is a truly stunning, all original piece with every single element hallmarked for 9ct gold and both dog clips, two links and the t-bar all marked for purity plus makers mark B&S.
The negative stace between the links make for a really flattering wear; it feels substantial and it looks substantial.
As you'll know by now pocket watch chains are more often than not, very often short in length serving their original intended purpose and only suitable for a small neck. This one is coming in at just over 15" which is the perfect length for my 12.5" neck but isn't suitable for a neck larger than 13" I’d say.
If you’ve got a grand and a half knocking around there are not many better things to spend it on…

All of my pieces are at the very least pre-loved and most of them are vintage or antique. This item is not brand new and as such, will not look brand new. Please expect signs of wear to include kinks in links, surface wear to gold, scuffs to stones and accept this as part and parcel of buying second hand jewellery. I will be as clear as I can with item descriptions and condition statement and aim to make sure you are aware of any potential defects before you buy.
