A beautifully made, enamelled locket dating to the Victorian period.
 
The back of the locket is just as lovely as the front in my opinion, so could be worn either way round.
 
Material - front and back panels are solid 9ct gold, frame and hinge are base metal
Hallmarks - no purity marks, there is a stamp for MA on the jump ring

Condition - good antique condition. Points to note - there is a touch of enamel loss at the bottom centre point and the locket doesn't snap shut, it closes softly but is still secure.
