Now here's a link I don't think I've come across before...
This superb, antique, guard chain with dog clip is made up from belcher links with a grooved edge (or toothed edge if you will) meaning that the edges curve inwards making the links super round and chubby. Although the links are semi hollow, they don't feel it at all and at first glance I assumed they were solid.
This will have been, at some point, part of a longer chain which has been split over time. The dog clip has been added at a later date and is a touch on the rosy side.
A really wonderful looooong chain which you'll wear with pride.
