A beautiful Essex Crystal bluebird pendant dating to c1900.

A slice of mother of Pearl is attached to a dome of rock crystal, reverse carved into a bluebird and painted to give the illusion of a three dimensional image encapsualted in the cabachon.

The bluebird is a symbol of hope, love, positivity and renewal. It symbolises the essence of life and beauty.

The crystal is generously bezel set in 18ct gold with a solid closed back and good sized 18ct jump ring.

A really wonderful addition to any chain collection.

The chain in the photos is not included in the sale.
