A stunning diamond and ruby starbusrt trilogy ring crafted in 18ct gold and made in Chester in 1870. If you love Victorian jewellery you may aboudy have one (or a few!) of these in your collection.

The old cut stones are set into eight point stars with a deep, crisp finish. The ring gives great finger presence due to the 7.2mm band which tapers down to 3.5mm on the underside.

The central old cut is small  and chubby with a lovely high table that you can feel when you run your finger over the top.

The inside of the ring is fully hallmaked and unusually there is small '18' hallmark to the outside of the band which is a wonderful touch and something I've not come across before.

Perfect, oiu?
