A superb Victorian, oval belcher link guard chain in immaculate condition with an oversized bolt clasp. During the Victorian era, these woking chains, were an essential part of any well to do lady's wardrobe. If you needed a way to keep hold of your pocket watch, make it fashun darling.


The most versatile of chains, wear her layered up to 3 times at various lengths or twice if you want to hang her low.


Yellow gold links, bolt clasp and 9C tag, bellissimo!


Bolt clasp and jump rings are slightly rosy (but hardly noticible) and are likely a later addition. A yellow gold dog clip can be added if preferred.


The bolt clasp can be attached to bot ends of the chain, giving you 28.5" to play with or it can be attached to one end of the chain, in the way that  regular clasp works which gives you 57". Please make a note at checkout to confirm which way you would like to receive the clasp.
