Presenting you with a superb chunk of antique gold in this Victorian double Albert chain with dog clips and tbar in 9ct yellow gold.
Chains of this quality, with original components in 9ct yellow gold are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Many of them currently on the market are in rose gold and often the dog clips and/or tbars have been replaced over time, but not this one. A really excellent, solid example with crisp clear hallmarks on EVERY SINGLE link.
Links graduate slightly in width from 7mm at the widest points in the centre down to 5.5mm at each end. This is a heavy piece with a weight of 45 grams and feels luxurious, yet extremely comfortable in wear.
The makers mark B&S (Benjamin Henry Britton & Sons c1855) is stamped on the tbar, on both dog clips and on a central curb link making this an all original piece, which I just love to see.
A wonderful investment chain!

All of my pieces are at the very least pre-owned and most of them are vintage or antique. This item is not brand new and as such, will not look brand new. Please expect signs of wear to include kinks in links, surface wear to gold, scuffs to stones and accept this as part and parcel of buying second hand jewellery. I will be as clear as I can with item descriptions and condition statements and aim to make sure you are aware of any potential defects before you buy. Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the condition statement.
