A really beautiful antique Albert chain that I would be more than happy to keep in my own collection.

These highly sought after fetter links are proportionally perfect and each stamped for 9 carat gold.

What is GREAT about that chain whch is often not great with a lot of Albert chains is that its a longer length with a mid weight so it's not too short and it's not too heavy.

The weight is just under 28 grams which means that it's not an outrageous price for a solid gold antique piece. The length is good, really good (17.6") and gives options for those of you who want to pay around with your styling.

There is a section of the chain where some of the links are more worn than the rest. This doesn't give me any cause for concern and in my opinion, the peiece has many many years of wear left in her. If however, you would like me to have these handful of links rienforced, I can do that for you. Please leave me a note at checkout and allow 3 weeks.

The old Victorian gold is warm and yellow, just how we like it.

All in all, an excellent choice for an heirloom chain which you'll take delight in wearing for many years to come!
