Without doubt, one of the best antique bracelets I've ever had the pleasure of handling and certainly the chunkiest that's been in my inventory.
Astonishingly, it's in yellow gold, or I should say 'warm yellow gold' because we know by now that yellow gold made over 100 years ago is nothing like modern yellow gold.
The links are ELEVEN millimeters in width, I KNOW. They are hollow but have been so well made and the goldsmith so generous with his materials, that they look and feel solid. If the links were made from solid gold, this bracelet would weigh around 100 grams.
The padlock is original to the piece and is engraved with the initials MW and the date 14.6.1901 - a wedding date? birth date? date of death? Who knows, make of it whatever you like.
A true statement piece, you'll never need another bracelet.

All of my pieces are at the very least pre-loved and most of them are vintage or antique. This item is not brand new and as such, will not look brand new. Please expect signs of wear to include kinks in links, surface wear to gold, scuffs to stones and accept this as part and parcel of buying sustainable jewellery. I will be as clear as I can with item descriptions and aim to make sure you are aware of any potential defects before you buy.
