Fake it till you make it!
This is the only time you'll ever see an imitation diamond in a modern/vintage piece from me. I often sell (and love) and old cut paste but a CZ in a ring or pendant is of no interest to me.
No-one (apart from you and I) is ever going to know that these tiny stones aren't diamonds unless they remove them from your ears and inspect them with a loupe.
