An incredible, Victorian, mixed link guard chain in immaculate condition made up from tulip and belcher links with each end attached to a dog clip. During the Victorian era, these woking chains, were an essential part of any well to do lady's wardrobe. If you needed a way to keep hold of your pocket watch, make it fashun darling.
I have had these chains in the past, I think I've sold a handful. I haven't ever handled one in such beautiful condition. I have a feeling this one has been sat in a drawer for a very long time. There is no wear to any of the links (can you just take a moment to appreciate how long it's taken me to inspect each link under magnification?) they are absolutely perfect.
The most versatile of chains, wear her layered up to 3 times at various lengths or twice if you want to hang her low.
Yellow gold with a mixed links, dog clip and 9C tag which is a crisp as the day it was stamped. Again, the quality and condition, chefs kiss!

Incredible antique mixed link guard chain
All of my pieces are at the very least pre-loved and most of them are vintage or antique. This item is not brand new and as such, will not look brand new. Please expect signs of wear to include kinks in links, surface wear to gold, scuffs to stones and accept this as part and parcel of buying sustainable jewellery. I will be as clear as I can with item descriptions and aim to make sure you are aware of any potential defects before you buy.
