A super sweet antique trombone chain at the lighter end of the weight spectrum keeping her well under a thousand pounds.
Both the chain and one of the dog clips are stamped with the makers mark AS for Arthur Sydenham; a highly prolific manufacturing jeweller based in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter who was widely known for producing high-quality, solid 9ct and 15ct gold pocket watch chains in the late 19th century.
Sitting on the shorter side at just under 15 inches long (14.75"), it's going to be perfect worn as your top layer with the clasps as the focal point and it's going to look GREAT layered with some longer chains.
The colour of the gold is on the yellow side with a degree of warmth indicative of the era in which it was made.
A super buy!
