It's common knowledge that I'm not a fan of the lobster clasp. I find them, to be blunt, cheap and tasteless. I will tolerate them occasionally if the shape and size fit's in proportionally with the overall piece but I'd say 90% of items I've bought with lobsters, I've removed and replaced them.
 
HOWEVER (and I'm happy to eat some humble pie here) this is no ordinary lobster clasp, I mean just look at the size of the thing. It weighs just over 6 grams and it's simply a big, fat, whopper.
 
In the right neck-mess that includes some chunky vintage, it's going to look amazing extending, connecting and accessorising.
