A beautifully engineered Edwardian heart-shaped glass locket.

Two glass panels to the front and back create an open frame, designed to hold photographs, mementoes or keepsakes close to the heart.

The bale unscrews to release the gold mount, allowing the glass panels to be carefully removed. Your chosen token can then be placed between the panes before reassembling and securing the bale. A wonderfully considered and practical design.

Hallmarked for Chester, 1902/3, this piece perfectly reflects the Edwardian era’s dedication to craftsmanship and detail. Now 123 years old, it remains effortlessly wearable and cool.

The glass remains in good condition with light surface wear commensurate with age, as does the mount which holds the panels securely in place. There are a couple of small nibbles to the bale, clearly shown in the photographs.
