A really beautiful old Victorian chain in immaculate condition with sought after combination of links and removable dog clip clasp. It's a piece that you're going to wear every day and will work as your mid layer if you’re wearing multiple chains but it's also ideal as your one and done.
The dog clip can be worn as a stand alone pendant, as a clasp to add other charms and pendants to or can be removed completely. One of the jump rings attached to the barrel clasp is bigger than the other so if/when you're removing the dog clip, you'll need to slide it over the smaller jump ring.
The colour of the gold is rich and yellow but it does have a degree of warmth, indicative to the period in which it was made.
