A gorgeous, chunky, solid, heavy (but not too heavy) alternating trombone and lovers knot watch chain with a flat edge dog clip.

Made from 9ct gold towards the end of the 19th century, it can be described as yellow (very often they're rose) but please do be aware that even the yellowest yellow 9ct from this period does have some warmth.

Wear this as your top layer to your neck mess or wear it alone, the length is perfect for sitting above or just over any round neck tshirts/sweaters. Could also be doubled up and worn as a bracelet.

Condition - beautiful antique condition with ll links intact/minimal wear. Points to note: the end jump ring which clips to the dog clip is open and has some surface wear. This is likely a relapcement but is solid and extremely secure. the round link to the centre which would have held a fob or tbar, has some wear but is solid and secure. The link next to the last knot link at the dog clip end of the chain, has some wear and is slightly misshapen, again it's solid and secure.
All of my pieces are at the very least pre-loved and most of them are vintage or antique. This item is not brand new and as such, will not look brand new. Please expect signs of wear to include kinks in links, surface wear to gold, scuffs to stones and accept this as part and parcel of buying second hand jewellery.
