An exciting find, this bloodstone signet has been hand carved with an an armoured Whippet / Greyhound symbolising loyalty, protection and vigilance. While dogs in intaglios usually represent fidelity, the added armour suggests a 'guardian against danger'; any dog owner or lover will be able to relate to this, I certainly do!
Crafted in solid 9 carat gold, the nature of the stone is perfectly represented by the deep green tone, covered in flecks of red. The gold has a good weight to it without being too heavy and masculine and is perfect for a little finger (can be resized upon request).
