A chunky late Edwardian double knot ring made in Birmingham in 1911.
This style of ring was popular during this period. Completely different in design to the classic 'lovers knot' we often see in antique jewellery, this chunky sheet knot is stead fast in design, less delicate, pulled together firmly, never coming undone.
It would, in my opinion, be perfect as a little finger ring.
